    Kingella potus

    Definition 1

    A species of aerobic, Gram negative, rod shaped bacteria assigned to the phylum Proteobacteria. This species is nonmotile, DNase and oxidase positive, catalase negative and nonsporulating. K. potus is normally found in the oral cavity of some mammals and may be pathogenic to humans upon infection. (NCI Thesaurus)
